Internet Marketing, Give and Thou Shall Receive

Published: Mar 9th, 2010 | Author: Alex Bhaswara Add Comment

Internet marketing is a necessary evil for all of us trying to make money on the internet. We must market our goods or products to stay in business. There are hundreds of ways to market things and new ways are popping up all the time. This can lead to information overload big-time. It can be quite an overload on your bank account too. But we can turn this time and money consuming EVIL to a GOOD, and prosperous thing. Surely you have heard the saying,” give and thou shall receive”. This is oh so relevant to internet marketing, as well as most anything in life, yet we all seem to forget about it time and time again. Giving of ones self, products, time, or knowledge can go very far in this industry. These days it seems everything is straight to the point. Get a name, pitch your offer, make the sale, go to the next one. Hurry, hurry, time is running out on this offer, or, this is a one time offer and you will see this only once here and now. Internet marketing is just a numbers game, right?

Wrong! People now are getting tired of being pushed, pressured, and hurried to make their purchasing decisions. They want to be marketed to personally and not like a herd of cattle. Giving your opt-ins and customers something will show them you care and want to help them and not just sell to them. We have all been sold to and as marketers we should remember how it was for us. By giving your readers help with a problem for free they will see you as someone they want to do business with also. Having a long time customer is better than some one time sale any day. (more…)

And why do you think we see all of these ads this time of year? It’s because the same culprits who claim they are going to do something about their health every year go out and purchase all of this stuff. Every year they claim they are going to get in shape, loss weight, eat healthier, blah, blah, and blah but they don’t do it. (more…)

Such trends, if taken advantage of, make you hundreds of dollars and really up your customer base. But just like real world trends, if you don’t jump on these online trends quickly enough, you’ll find yourself left behind.

One of the biggest marketing trends going on currently involved social networks like Faceboo, Twitter, MySpace, and Friendster. These social networks are all similar in nature where in users sign up for a free profile and can post information about themselves, their likes, what they do for a living, etc. Usually, these social networks let users also post pictures and videos. Once they’ve made their profile, they can search for other people and add them as their friends.

The whole point of these social networking sites is to get in contact with family, friends, classmates, acquaintances, and, sometimes, total strangers. By creating a profile for your business and adding people as your friends, you can get the word out there to millions. Businesses has a separate legal entity by itself. Published: Mar 8th, 2010 | Author: Alex Bhaswara Add Comment

The internet has enabled many people to have another way of making money. The concept of making money online is very simple. There are millions of buyers and millions of sellers online and your job is to match the buyers and sellers. When the sales transaction is completed, you will earn a commission. Imagine that you are able to match 1,000 successful transactions per month with $100 commission per transaction; you are going to make $100,000 income per month!

The concept looks simple but you need to understand the “know how” and some tricks. Below are some key tips to help to get it right at the beginning.

(1) Find your targeted market and do a research on the needs of the buyers and find out exactly they are looking for. For example, if the buyer is looking for ways to reduce weight, you can sell them many things like weight loss exercise program, weight loss diets, weight loss monitoring machines, weight loss exercise equipment, etc. The buyer will try all sorts of things until they achieve their desired results. After they have achieved the target weight, you can sell them other things like “how to maintain your weight program”, “how to tune up your body program”, etc. And again, they will try other things to make their body keep healthy and looks fit.

(2) Once you have identified your targeted market, you need to create a website as a platform to sell your products. The website can be a sales page or a blog with your affiliate links of the product you want to sell. (more…)

Internet Marketing – 6 Tips to Promote Your Website Offline

Many people who set up a website to promote their online product or an offline business miss out on an important means of promotion. Offline marketing of a website can be very successful, if you do it right. This article explains what works.

What works.

Remember you don’t need to take full page ads. You just want someone to see the ad and feel prompted to visit your website where you can do your full advertising.

Think for a moment what would lead you to look up a website from an ad.

1. A coupon. This method dramatically increases traffic. This coupon would ideally lead them to a page on your site where you can make a special offer, if they buy now or if they come in to your business.

2. A prize. e.g. the first 100 to come to this site will receive x.

3. Direct response time limited offer. If you visit my site by (set a date) you will receive my special offer.

There has to be a compelling reason to visit your site, and to do it quickly. You need to create a feeling that if they don’t visit now they will miss out. (more…)

Is 2010 Going to Be a Good Year For Internet Marketing “Gurus”

Published: Mar 8th, 2010 | Author: Alex Bhaswara Add Comment

Internet Marketing experts, also called Super Affiliates or Gurus or just plain experts have cradled the cream of common business sense and in the doing have created a mystique around their businesses. The difference between them and the rest is simply that mystique. Or is it? These people are generally given credit as being leaders in their chosen fields so is it simply because they are extremely successful or is it because they make the most noise? What I have attempted to do here is break down some of their methods for the benefit of all.

Firstly let us be sure of one simple fact. They have exploited their sales skills to the limit as most Marketers do but the special people go one step further and continually push the boundaries of knowledge and possibility. A traditional business will have a sales and marketing department with specialists to ensure the business is fed with incoming orders. This usually accounts for a number of people who take on a specific role within the Marketing mix, i.e. selling or advertising, PR and customer service etc. Because the Internet is still relatively new in global terms, their position is only set to expand with their imagination.
