I’m going to show you the real strategy about how you should start building your online marketing business.
Many people think that affiliate marketing is the way you should start building your business online, but in fact that’s not how it is.
You see if you want to start building your Internet based business opportunity with as an affiliate, the only thing in this case which will be profitable for you is that you will be only making commissions for each sale of this or that product. You will be not building a page rank for your website, you will be not expanding your business, you will be not building your name as authority one in online marketing world.

Up until about a couple of years ago, I’ll be honest I rarely read a book and if I did it was on holiday and was usually a novel. But over the past 2 years, prompted by Rhonda Byrne’s “The Secret” I began a journey of personal development. I also took stock of my life, my financial position in particular, and where I really wanted to be in life. I was sick of struggling month to month.
Do you ever feel like you have worked hard all your life but somehow it just isn’t reflected in what you have to show for it? I do and now I’ve read ‘The Slight Edge’ by Jeff Olson I’m starting to understand why this is.
It’s not because I’m unlucky, or lazy, or not got the right education, although it is easy to fall into the ‘victim mode’. Truth is, it’s down to me…doing the right things or the wrong things compounded over time, will take you ultimately either on an upwards trend or down and out. The good news is that it’s never too late to change the course of your life.
Two years ago in an attempt to supplement my income after I suddenly found myself a single mum of two kids, I delved into the world of network marketing. I did all I was asked to do, went to every event, listened to every call, read every book…and had some degree of success. (more…)
For years I’ve struggled up in the bleak winter mornings and joined the other grey-faced would-be work-bound passengers at the train station or bus stop. Together we’ve faced the vagaries of unreliable transport systems, stamping feet and clapping hands to keep warm. Leaving home and garden in the summer months to go to work is even less appealing. Sitting in a stuffy office whilst the sun streams through the window and the cloudless blue-sky beckons is not my idea of fun.
Well, I’m pleased to say that all that is now a thing of the past. Recently I’ve begun employment for a company that uses home-based workers and I haven’t looked back since. In the winter I can cosy up in my fleece and warm slippers and attack my work to the accompaniment of my favourite background music and a hot drink. During the summer I fling open the windows, listen to the birdsong and smell the fragrance of my climbing roses under the sill.

Have you ever felt like you were so immersed in an activity that everything else around you seemed to disappear and everything you were doing seemed flawless? This feeling that athletes commonly refer to as being in “the zone”, is referred to as Flow by psychologists. Experiencing flow has been closely associated to an increase in subjective well being (or happiness). Positive psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihali has studied this phenomenon extensively and his findings have important implications for our state of well being in different facets of our lives.
Can you imagine being able to induce a state of flow at work, at home, or at play? Being completely immersed and fully involved in the process of achieving your goal. If you were able to find flow at work your productivity would significantly increase, distractions would decrease (if not disappear altogether), and your full attention would be directed towards completing the task at hand.
Envision being on a date with your partner and not being distracted by anything or anyone: Just enjoying each other, listening, appreciating, savouring every minute. Do you think this kind of experience would have the potential to enhance and solidify your relationship? What about being able to play with your children and not being distracted by the bills, the kitchen floor that needs to be cleaned, or one of the many other tasks that have to be done? Would your kids appreciate your full attention and engagement with them as you play? Would it make you feel like a better parent?

Have you decided how you will make money online? You can overwhelm yourself just thinking about all the possibilities.
To deal with information overload it helps to focus on two main strategies and make a decision between them.
In the “Virtual Real Estate Empire” approach you build niche informational sites that are monetized with affiliate revenue products such as AdSense, ClickBank and Amazon. You may even sell your own product and build an email list. The goal of this strategy is to multiply your income stream by building more sites in different niches.
In the “Site Flipping” approach you build sites similar to those in a Virtual Real Estate Empire, monetize them, grow organic traffic to them and then when income reaches a peak you sell the site to earn a profit.
There are many people who have tried both strategies and have done well in each.
