Businesses Need Your Feedback… Earn $1000 – $3000 a month by filling out paid surveys! Easy way to work at home. Get Paid $20 or more by filling out a 5 minute survey.

Doesn’t this sound too good to be true? Well, your suspicions are correct. As an affiliate marketer I have seen my share of products and scams in the online marketplace. Before I attempt to sell anything online I first review or conduct a study about the product or service. This educates me about the product so I can keep my reputation safe. After joining over 20 different paid survey sites and filling out a load of these “paid surveys” I discovered the following:

Observation:

Most Paid Surveys are Actually Paid Out in the Form of Points and Sweepstakes Entries.

Findings:

Paid Surveys usually result in a reward in the form of the surveyed company’s product or samples of their products. Another popular reward comes in the form of sweepstakes entries… How am I supposed to fill my gas tank with sweepstakes entries? Can I feed my wife and kids sweepstakes entries? The truth is, that in over 90% of the paid surveys I took, I received either points for purchasing the company’s products or some form of savings on their products and services.

What Is A Paid Survey?

A paid survey is a form of market research. Big companies spend billions of dollars a year on advertising. They want to know their money is being spent well. These major companies hire a market research firm to conduct studies of their products, advertising, or of a certain demographic of people they are trying to target.

A market research firm then does a study to find out information for the big company. Their studies are conducted in several ways. One of the most popular is a paid survey. Members of the firms paid survey panels are invited to participate in a paid survey. The survey asks questions about how you feel about a certain product or advertisement and may ask questions on how you feel the product could be better. It may show you five or six advertisements or, slogans, or logos, and ask you to choose the one you think is best. They may survey 5000 people then the company that hired them will make it’s product based on the results of the paid survey.

Market research companies are paid alot of money to do this. In return their panelists are compensated for their help. An average paid survey takes around 20 minutes and pays from $5 to $20. Some may pay more depending on time and importance of the study.

The companies that pull these types of scams will sound very sincere and post supposed testimonials from their “satisfied customers,” all as a way to entice you and scam you out of some money. These places will say that they must unfortunately charge that one time fee as a way to cover the administrative costs such as maintaining their website and keeping their databases up-to-date with the latest information. Plus, these paid survey scam artists will say that it also a way to separate the riff-raff from the people who are truly serious about earning an income from home.

What these companies don’t tell you is that all the information in their database that you just paid a registration fee to access is information you can find on your own – for free! They justify that they do all the work for you so that you can access the paid survey information from one place. Another part of these scams is something you don’t find out until after you have shelled out the money. More often than not, the biggest scam of all from these jokers is that they have a lot of non-paying survey sites listed in their database. In addition, their information is not always up to date. They could be listing paid survey companies that no longer exist!

Another scam that these companies perpetuate includes selling your personal information to a number of marketing companies. The next thing you know, the number of telemarketing calls to your home increases. You will also likely get more hang-up calls and automated recordings. Your email inbox starts filling up with spam. The junk mail factor increases exponentially at your home too. You will start to receive chain letters with all sorts of scams and business opportunities in which you never requested information.
