How to Manage Your Time As an Internet Marketer

This problem was brought to my attention first by a top marketer, who is also a good friend of mine. He complained about having enough time to get the things done that are required to run an internet business. I understood how he felt, because I was having the same problem. After thinking about it and doing some reading on the internet I discovered the key to getting more time is spending your time on things that really matter, meaning things that make a difference for the success of your business and personal life.

Remember one of the reasons you got into business for yourself was to have more time for family and hobbies. This can only be accomplished by managing your time wisely.

Start by making a list of things you need to do on a regular basis to operate your business. Example:

1. Check emails
2. post on social networking sites
3. write articles
4. write press releases
5. make and distribute video’s
6. add friends to your social networking sites daily
7. train new associates
8. make and submit advertisement
9. attending weekly training seminars (more…)

Internet Marketing, Give and Thou Shall Receive

Published: Mar 9th, 2010 | Author: Alex Bhaswara Add Comment

Internet marketing is a necessary evil for all of us trying to make money on the internet. We must market our goods or products to stay in business. There are hundreds of ways to market things and new ways are popping up all the time. This can lead to information overload big-time. It can be quite an overload on your bank account too. But we can turn this time and money consuming EVIL to a GOOD, and prosperous thing. Surely you have heard the saying,” give and thou shall receive”. This is oh so relevant to internet marketing, as well as most anything in life, yet we all seem to forget about it time and time again. Giving of ones self, products, time, or knowledge can go very far in this industry. These days it seems everything is straight to the point. Get a name, pitch your offer, make the sale, go to the next one. Hurry, hurry, time is running out on this offer, or, this is a one time offer and you will see this only once here and now. Internet marketing is just a numbers game, right?

Wrong! People now are getting tired of being pushed, pressured, and hurried to make their purchasing decisions. They want to be marketed to personally and not like a herd of cattle. Giving your opt-ins and customers something will show them you care and want to help them and not just sell to them. We have all been sold to and as marketers we should remember how it was for us. By giving your readers help with a problem for free they will see you as someone they want to do business with also. Having a long time customer is better than some one time sale any day. (more…)

Profit by Following Internet Marketing Trends

Similar to stocks, the internet also has trends. Traffic has trends and therefore internet marketing has trends also. Such trends, if taken advantage of, make you hundreds of dollars and really up your customer base. But just like real world trends, if you don’t jump on these online trends quickly enough, you’ll find yourself left behind.

One of the biggest marketing trends going on currently involved social networks like Faceboo, Twitter, MySpace, and Friendster. These social networks are all similar in nature where in users sign up for a free profile and can post information about themselves, their likes, what they do for a living, etc. Usually, these social networks let users also post pictures and videos. Once they’ve made their profile, they can search for other people and add them as their friends.

The whole point of these social networking sites is to get in contact with family, friends, classmates, acquaintances, and, sometimes, total strangers. By creating a profile for your business and adding people as your friends, you can get the word out there to millions. Businesses has a separate legal entity by itself. I’m not a lawyer but I remember reading it somewhere, and therefore one can treat is as a unique entity separate from your own identity. Therefore, it is always nice to create separate social networking accounts for your business. (more…)

Here are a few reasons why you should hire an internet marketing coach:

1. Marketing problems

Do you continually spend money on marketing for it to not work? You could be spending good money on magazine ads, button and banner ads online, or newspaper ads for not one person to come your direction. Internet Marketing – 6 Tips to Promote Your Website Offline

Published: Mar 8th, 2010 | Author: Alex Bhaswara Add Comment

Many people who set up a website to promote their online product or an offline business miss out on an important means of promotion. Offline marketing of a website can be very successful, if you do it right. This article explains what works.

What works.

Remember you don’t need to take full page ads. You just want someone to see the ad and feel prompted to visit your website where you can do your full advertising.

Think for a moment what would lead you to look up a website from an ad.

1. A coupon. This method dramatically increases traffic. This coupon would ideally lead them to a page on your site where you can make a special offer, if they buy now or if they come in to your business.

2. A prize. e.g. the first 100 to come to this site will receive x.

3. Direct response time limited offer. If you visit my site by (set a date) you will receive my special offer.

There has to be a compelling reason to visit your site, and to do it quickly. You need to create a feeling that if they don’t visit now they will miss out. (more…)

Is 2010 Going to Be a Good Year For Internet Marketing “Gurus”

Published: Mar 8th, 2010 | Author: Alex Bhaswara Add Comment

Internet Marketing experts, also called Super Affiliates or Gurus or just plain experts have cradled the cream of common business sense and in the doing have created a mystique around their businesses. The difference between them and the rest is simply that mystique. Or is it? These people are generally given credit as being leaders in their chosen fields so is it simply because they are extremely successful or is it because they make the most noise? What I have attempted to do here is break down some of their methods for the benefit of all.

Firstly let us be sure of one simple fact. They have exploited their sales skills to the limit as most Marketers do but the special people go one step further and continually push the boundaries of knowledge and possibility. A traditional business will have a sales and marketing department with specialists to ensure the business is fed with incoming orders. This usually accounts for a number of people who take on a specific role within the Marketing mix, i.e. selling or advertising, PR and customer service etc. Because the Internet is still relatively new in global terms, their position is only set to expand with their imagination. How You Can Decide What Are Legitimate Internet Business Opportunities

Published: Mar 7th, 2010 | Author: Alex Bhaswara Add Comment

On the Internet there are scams and there are legitimate business opportunities. You should do complete research before joining any possible business opportunities. Here are a few good tips to consider when making a decision.

You should always do a thorough check on the company. I’m always a little suspect of companies that won’t disclose much about themselves. It is as if they are trying to hide something.

You should be able to call them and talk to an actual person. You also should be able to get a mailing address and detailed information about their history. How long have they been in business and what successes have they had?

You can learn quite a bit about a business by looking at their website. It should be professional and provide information without just a bunch of fluff. You can find out more about specific companies by visiting alex.com.

What kind of customer support and training do they provide? A good business will be able to answer your questions when you need them. There should also be quality training to help your business grow after you start it. Many Internet companies offer complete online training. (more…)

Succeeding With Internet Marketing

Published: Mar 7th, 2010 | Author: Alex Bhaswara Add Comment

One of the most stunning developments of the internet has been the fact that commerce online has succeeded beyond even the wildest of positive expectations. While most people assumed the convenience of purchasing online would prove quite attractive, few thought that the popularity of online purchasing would lead to $5+ billions of dollars of commerce on an annual global basis. And here is the absolute best part of all this: virtually anyone can become involved with internet marketing and make a significant amount of money with it. Some do not even have a product to sell per se. They will employ Pay Per Click (PPC) ads on their websites and generate revenues that way. Since many Pay Per Click management services are available, this process can be achieved relatively easily.

Does this make the process sound a little too easy? Well, the process is involved which means there are many steps and factors that go into whether or not an internet marketing venture is successful. And yes, there is a certain number of intangible factors that can go into the likelihood of succeeding with internet marketing. However, the process is no where near as tough as some assume as long as the common established methods of success are followed.

At the core of internet marketing strategies will be a properly designed, developed, and published website. The entire strategy of an internet marketing plan will revolve around people visiting a website and making a purchase. The days of strictly marketing via email without a supporting website are over. Actually, they have been over for a very long time. People are more interested in looking over a website prior to making a consumer purchasing decision. That means you will need a quality website and Pay Per Click Management to support your plan. There are no ways around this.

Of course, a website alone will not lead to immediate success at internet marketing. Just because a website is published and its URL is submitted through the internet does not mean that it will automatically draw attention since there are scores of other websites on the internet. As such, success will be based around drawing in a solid amount of traffic. (more…)
